Early Strength Late Weakness
We'll probably get reflexive buying and short covering on the JP Morgan news and gap down open and then fall apart in the 2nd half of the day after Europe closes. Europe is trading stronger than the US this week. I stand by my belief that Europe has made an intermediate term bottom and that the US will follow soon. Expecting us to close near the lows today but probably show a little strength early in the day.

so we bounce back next week?
Yes, we should bounce back on Monday. Beyond that, who knows.
Buy the dips !
n e one planning on buying facebook?
This bottom seems bottomless lol.
Well, another great call MO :)
I would short FB if I could on the IPO day. Too bad its hard to find borrows on IPOs. Social media will not live up to the hype and I expect FB stock to flounder over the coming years.
With fb huge subscribers how can they NOT turn that into billions? Googles model is similar. Like 80% or more of revenues are ads. Their still gking strong. Growth rate may be down slightly but still v. Impressive.
FB uses advertising model but no one clicks on the ads. It's just eyeballs. You don't get revenue based on eyeballs, you get revenue based on effective advertising space. How are you going to get advertisers to pay up when they don't get results from their ads? When people go on Google to search, they are looking for something, on FB, they are just looking to see friend's pictures or comments. There is no focused advertising and NO ONE clicks on the ads.
No one "clicks" on superbowl ads.
The info facebook has on people alone is worth billions..to the right marketer.
FB is the next YHOO. Actually, I think YHOO's market cap will be bigger than FB's in 5 years. Comparing stupid homepages and pics with the Super Bowl. LOL. GOOG will crush FB. Book it!
